A few weeks back, our CEO, Sven represented OptoScale at Monaco Ocean Week, arranged by Foundation Prince II Monaco .
We were invited to Monaco Ocean Week because of our groundbreaking efforts to enhance the sustainability of the fish farming industry. It’s a fact worth pondering: more than half of the seafood consumed comes from aquaculture, and this trend is only expected to rise. This makes our mission – to make seafood production as sustainable as possible – more crucial than ever. 🐟🌍
This conference was a melting pot of inspiration, bringing together investors, fellow entrepreneurs, NGOs, and more. Prince Albert Foundation showed genuine interest in the work done to improve the sustainability of fish farming. 🌐💡Our experience in Monaco was a far cry from our usual days at fish farming sites, discussing advancements with our customers. Monaco, with its glitz and glamour, was surprisingly receptive to the fresh ideas we’re championing – as welcoming as our own clients back home.
To wrap it up, a light-hearted lesson learned by Sven: When transitioning from the Norwegian winter to the sun-soaked shores of Monaco, never forget your sunscreen. ☀️😎
